Dr. Ololade "Lola" Ekwere, PhD, APN

Dr. Lola is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in various capacities within healthcare, serving children, adolescents, adults, and their families.

​

Dr. Lola specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep disorders, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions.

 

She is also PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certified) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), with specialized knowledge and experience in supporting women experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy and in the postpartum period.

Because she understands the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, Dr. Lola works collaboratively with each patient to prioritize and address their individual mental health needs. She is empathetic, compassionate, and an attentive listener who uses evidence-based guidelines and best practices to provide high-quality, individualized care.

Her goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where children, adolescents, adults, and their families feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey.
